Roman Jewelers of Flemington has added Breitling to their collection of fine swis watches available at their watch store. Roman & Sophie Shor, the store's owners are pleased that Breitling as agreed to become a part of their collection. "Truly, our watch store is much more complete. Our customers have been requesting Breitling for man, many, years and we would not have been doing our job if we didn't pursue it," says Sophie Shor. A specialist of technical watches, Breitling has played a crucial role in the development of the wrist chronograph since its beginnings in the Swiss Jula in 1884. These precision instruments were intended for sports, science and industry. Thanks to its high-quality products and its constant quest for innovation, the brand accompanied the boom of competitive sports and of the automobile – as well as the first feats of the aviation pioneers. The world’s only major watch brand to equip all its models with chronometer-certified movements, the ultimate token of precision, Breitling is also one of the rare companies to produce its own mechanical chronograph movement, entirely developed and manufactured in its own workshops. This family business is also one of the last remaining independent Swiss watch brands. “It takes a great deal of knowledge to sell Breitling. Understanding the automatic movement, the complications and the design of this watch is vital to the customer experience. Our staff has not only been trained by Breitling, but have years of experience with Swiss watches,” says Shor, although she admits, many of the customers who seek out this watch already know quite a bit about it, “They’ve done their homework,” she adds. Breitling retails from around $2,000. The Breitling for Bentley watch, considered the most highly collectible will also be available at Roman Jewelers within the next weeks.
